During the handbag gifting, Bahati’s excitement was evident. However, what truly sparked speculation was when he mentioned a specific date—March 1st—while hinting at an all-white dress code for guests. This led many to believe that the couple is preparing for a wedding.

Adding to the suspense, Bahati reflected on the day he first introduced himself to Diana’s family, sharing:
"This is the first day I went to introduce myself to @Diana_Marua’s family… Next week Saturday, 1st March, is #THEBAHATISBIGDAY."

Diana also took to Instagram to confirm the excitement, announcing:
"Invitation to THE BAHATIS BIG DAY happening on 1st March, 2025. It’s a Red Carpet Affair! Let’s celebrate and make a toast to what God has already done. I can’t wait to see you all."

She further expressed her joy, hinting at a wedding by stating that she "can’t wait to say ‘Yes, I do.’"
