Couple Killed in Light Plane Crash at Kedong Ranch, Naivasha
A tragic plane crash claimed the lives of a couple on Thursday evening at Kedong Ranch in Naivasha. Marcus Dunn and Anne Dunn were flying back to their farm in Loldia, Naivasha, when their light aircraft crashed under unclear circumstances.
Rescue teams and police officers faced significant challenges in reaching the wreckage, with it taking over six hours to access the crash site. Once at the scene, authorities recovered the couples bodies and personal belongings, including a firearm.
Naivasha Deputy OCPD Charles Mwai confirmed the incident and stated that poor visibility, possibly caused by dense fog in the area, might have played a role in the crash. He further explained that the plane had crashed into a valley, which made rescue operations more difficult.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
