President William Ruto is scheduled to undertake an extensive development tour of the North Rift region from October 10 to October 20, 2026, visiting six counties to inspect ongoing projects, launch new developments, commission completed facilities and oversee the issuance of title deeds to residents.
According to the published programme, the tour will cover Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Nandi, Elgeyo Marakwet, West Pokot and Baringo counties. The activities will focus on road construction, affordable housing, healthcare, education, markets, water projects, electricity connectivity and land ownership.
The tour will culminate in the national Mashujaa Day celebrations on October 20 at Kipchoge Keino Stadium in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.
