Love triangle turns deadly.
A Kenyan SDA church service turned violent when one elder stabbed another at the altar, accusing him of an affair with his wife. The victim died, and the attacker is in custody.
A Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) church elder, Francis Opiyo, was fatally stabbed at the altar of Ebeneza SDA church in Ramoya village, Homa Bay County, Kenya.
The incident occurred during a church service on Saturday. Opiyo had just finished delivering church reports when another elder approached him and stabbed him in the chest with a knife hidden inside a Bible. The attacker accused Opiyo of having an affair with his wife, who is also a church member.
The attacker fled but later surrendered to a local official, while Opiyo died in the hospital. Police are investigating the incident and have the suspect in custody. They urged residents to find peaceful solutions to conflicts instead of resorting to violence. The body was taken to a mortuary in Migori County.
