Public Service Minister Geoffrey Ruku has issued a stern warning to public officials involved in corruption, calling on the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to quickly shut down all people involved in recent corruption reports. warns that no official will be spared, regardless of rank, in all public offices in the country.

 Speaking at Kirewe plots in Matuga, Kwale County, CS Ruku said that the era of stolen public resources going unpunished is over. He emphasized that there is no government official, no matter what the title, who will be protected from accountability. "I call the EACC to take concrete steps and arrest all those mentioned in those reports. 

Ruku emphasized that President William Ruto has ordered to clean up public institutions to restore civilian confidence in the government. He also called on citizens to play Aktifs role in the fight against corruption by reporting bad officials.

"Do not be afraid to show the corrupt officers. Even if it means to associate me directly or share the information with the relevant authorities - talk," he motivated. Regarding the ongoing hunger epidemic in the arid and semi-arid areas, the Cabinet secretary directed the National Government officials (shield) to speed up the mapping of affected households so that the Special Program Department could intervene effectively. "The president has set up a complete intervention system in 23 counties. No Kenyan will die of hunger - the government is vigilant and responds accordingly," Ruku assured. Emphasizing developmental priorities in the area, Cs Ruku revealed that the government has planned Ksh 4 billion for the Kwale -Kinangop Road project,  in which he said would strengthen trade and improve transportation in the region, promising that the Kenya Kwanza government is working tirelessly to deliver its promise to Kenyans. He also promised to speed up the Last Mile electronic connection program, saying that every Kenyan deserves electricity in all corners of the nation.

Since he took office, Cs Ruku has been making silent visits to public offices, aware that all public service workers should be punctual and hardworking to deliver well for Kenyans. He is one of the leaders who have been arguing with public servants to ensure smooth service to Kenyans since they are the taxpayers, thus requiring good quality services.

CS Ruku was accompanied by several leaders, including Matuga MP Kassim Tandaza, Kwale Womens Representative Fatuma Masito, Buuri MP Mugambi Rilikiri, and Tharaka MP Gitonga Murugara.
