Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has announced that when he finally settles down, he plans to marry three wives. The outspoken legislator revealed that his demanding political career has left him with little time for dating, prioritizing his work over relationships.
Speaking during a recent radio interview, Salasya joked about his bachelor status, saying he is the only man in Mumias East "allowed" to remain single due to his political responsibilities. He emphasized that his main focus is serving his constituents before thinking about marriage.
Salasya’s love life has previously drawn public attention. In the past, he humorously expressed admiration for socialite Huddah Monroe, sparking an entertaining online exchange. Despite his jokes about relationships, he remains committed to his duties as an MP.
Meanwhile, Salasya recently dismissed a survey ranking Embakasi East MP Babu Owino as the best-performing lawmaker. The Infotrak report placed Salasya in fifth place, but he disputed the results, insisting he deserved the top spot and promising to issue a statement on his achievements.
