Cristhian Mosquera first words after completing Arsenal transfer
Cristhian Mosquera gives his first words as a new Arsenal player following his move from Valencia

The transfer of Cristhian Mosquera to Arsenal is formally complete, and the centre-half has agreed a five-year deal with the club becoming the third Spaniard to join the club this summer, which also includes Kepa Arrizabalaga and Martin Zubimendi. Spanish youth international has already returned to Singapore in order to join the group.

His transfer wish was expected to be over by the time they were flying out en bloc, but with this development, the 21-year old kid can only have drinks to get to know his new teammates. He comes in with much experience in one of the best five leagues in Europe at a relatively tender age.

The defender has however been talking to the official site of the club. The interview fans had been waiting a while to be announced with a picture of Noni being leaked last week when his arrival was made known to fans at the club.

He said in his first interview which was done on official Arsenal web site, it means a lot to me. Behind all of this a lot of hard work has been done.

It is a project that was given to me and I could not simply pass it away. I am becoming a member of a legendary, huge club. You come here and you get a sense of the greatness of this place working when you come coming in with the family.”

Talking of playing with former Arsenal players Yunus Musah and Gabriel Paulista he added: I have got special friendship with both of them. I have kept contact with them.

Always when both me and Gabi were at Valencia he always said that Arsenal was on another level and something magical and I also played with Yunus once here in London. He told the same thing of how big this club was.”
