The disappearance of Lily Chorono Kimtai, a 53-year-old woman from Trans Nzoia County, has raised concern among her family and sparked a police investigation. Lily reportedly went missing from her home in Kipsingor Village, Kaplamai Ward, Trans Nzoia County, on September 9, 2026. More than a week later, her whereabouts remained unknown, leaving relatives and investigators trying to establish what happened to her. 

The case has attracted particular attention because Lily's disappearance was accompanied by another disturbing development: a licensed firearm belonging to her husband, Michael Kimtai Ndiwa, was also reported missing from their home.
